About Naomi

I’m Naomi Magnus, an experienced existential psychotherapist and clinical supervisor with over 20 years of practice supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s most complex emotional and relational challenges.

I am proud to serve as *Clinical Director of the North London Therapy Practice, where I lead a team of skilled therapists offering a broad range of psychological services. Alongside this role, I run a private practice based in **Harley Street*, Central London, offering both in-person and online sessions.

How I Work

My approach is grounded in existential psychotherapy—a reflective and respectful way of working that encourages clients to explore the deeper meanings behind their struggles and to connect more fully with themselves and their relationships.

Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, relationship breakdowns, parenting struggles, or simply feeling stuck or overwhelmed, I provide a calm, collaborative space where we can work together to understand what’s happening and identify meaningful paths forward.

Extensive Experience

Across two decades, I’ve supported people from all walks of life—working in NHS primary care, domestic abuse services, and with youth organisations, as well as within the private sector. I’ve worked with a wide range of presenting issues and life stages, and bring depth, compassion and insight to every client relationship.

My work with individuals often centres around identity, purpose, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and trauma. With *couples and families*, I offer a space to understand patterns of communication, resolve conflict, deepen connection, and navigate changes together.

Clinical Supervision & Leadership

As Clinical Director at North London Therapy Practice, I oversee the development and quality of services delivered by our diverse team of psychotherapists, psychologists, and counsellors.

I also provide supervision for therapists, trainees, and professionals in emotionally intensive roles, including those working in social care, NGOs, and refugee support. I currently supervise teams supporting trafficked children and young asylum seekers.

I run regular training/CPD day trainings on working phenomenologically with couples, please visit the North London Therapy Practice eventbrite page here for more info.
